I've just got the latest update, and it has some very useful additional functionality. It now shows solar and consumption forecasts and my battery's upcoming schedule, so I know what to expect and can see how good the forecasts were. Well done guys!

I have been with Capture since the last week of July and so far it has been a positive experience, they are always friendly and quick to respond and look in to any support requests I have made such as changing when/how the battery is charged now the weather is turning colder. They have managed my system very well which has enabled me to be able to just forget what they are doing except I like to keep an eye on what I am generating.

Perhaps this is unfair by not giving it longer, and perhaps I'm too much of a control freak but the decisions this AI made in less than 24 hours made me uninstall. You would be just as well to put a toddler in charge. It hammered the batteries all night yo-yoing between force discharge and charge at max power then left the batteries at 100% before a very hot day leaving no headroom for DC charging risking daytime clipping and consequent revenue loss. Then massive force discharge at 9pm?? No, thanks

Doesn't yet allow for Octopus dynamic cheap rate slots on Intelligent Go tariff. Until it does, there is no point in me using this app; the Octopus Energy smart charging cheap rate slots are constantly changing, so I need to control when my home battery charges. Happy to come back and up the rating if and when the app allows for this and automatically charges the home battery in cheap rate slots given by Octopus Energy. Until then... I'll make do with my own back of the envelope solar forecast!
