Nice integration with my electric company and aggressive on savings. Only issue is it ignores away mode so when we are away and basically want to set the thermostat way off the norms, optiwatt tries to maintain normal temps, but I hear a fix is on the way

Edit: revised to 4 star. The connectivity issue I was having was a car issue. Utilizing this app through an incentive program locally, along with an Enel x Way Juice box 40, which does not appear to be connected / supported through the app. My first charge on setting up the app showed up, but I have charged twice since, and neither are registering as new sessions on the app. Was looking forward to scheduling charges and tracking savings, hoping they fix this in the future (charger connectivity).

Even after connecting my utility bill and waiting a few days, it's not working, yet. I got an email saying that my utility was connected. I log in the app, and it asks me to connect my utility. I click on connect utility, connection successful. Go home screen: connect utility! 🤦♂️

Junk, after installing, app force my car to charge during on-peak hours, something that never happened with the manufacture app. What's so hard to just make a charging schedule.

I tried it for a few days a while back and decided it doesn't do anything I needed that the built-in scheduler doesn't do. So I disabled and forgot about it. After trading in I couldn't control the charge schedule of my new car. I finally realized Optiwatt knew about the new car, turned itself back on, and commandeered my charge schedule. Closed account and changing Tesla password. Malware.

I set my Model3 to charge at solar inverter capacity limits, to see what the time-of-day interactions would be, and the car charges at midnight for an hour, then a 2am for an hour, then at 4 am for an hour. Obviously battery isn't full at 10AM. Several days of testing show that this app interferes with optimal battery charging temperature (warm=better) and charging for an hour doesn't do that. Sent an email, staff says it's proprietary. I say it avoids max power and spreads it. Uninstalling.
