Comments on Car Dashcam(LGD 5 Series) for Android

★★★★★ I've had it for over a year now and it's been good but every now and than I have connection issues

★★★★★ Works OK, with room for improvement. Translations are a bit rough in some spots, but not a big deal. For those who can't get it working, try disabling your cellular data when connecting to the camera over WiFi. My oneplus 3T would fail over to the cellular data when it detected no internet on the WiFi that the camera broadcasts. After disabling cellular data, connection to the camera works well.

★★★★★ Works just fine, awesome dash camera awesome app.

★★☆☆☆ Poor maintenance of this app. Has a lot of bugs. cant format sd card or change any settings to my cam at all using this app. only thing i can do is watch live on camera. thats it. it even fails at uploading the latest firmware. will come back to edit this comment if anything changes.

★★☆☆☆ It doesn't work. I connect to the wifi after turning it on dash cam, but the app just says "unable to connect to WLAN" after pressing the start button. I have to take out the microSD card and use the viewer on my computer to do anything.

★★☆☆☆ Won't ever buy a LG dashcam again. Software seems to be made by 4 year olds. It's clunky and doesn't work half of the time. Can't get my cam to update firmware. All around junk.
