Description

Esta aplicación educativa divertida con clips de audio incorporados se estructura en un
conjunto de cartillas alfabéticas para enseñar a los niños de la comunidad indígena iskonawa a
leer palabras en su idioma. Cuenta con ilustraciones dibujadas por Guillermo Nëcca Pëmen
Mënquë y Mariana Poblete, así como con clips de audio grabados por Nelita Rodríguez
Campos. Se introduce cada letra del alfabeto Iskonawa con una palabra que comienza con esa
letra y una oración usando la palabra, con traducciones al castellano. Cada palabra y oración
se puede tocar para reproducir el clip de audio de la palabra u oración. Después de la
introducción de grupos de 5 letras, siguen páginas de autoevaluación en las que los alumnos
unen las palabras introducidas las páginas anteriores con su ilustración correspondiente.
Esta aplicación educativa se produjo en el marco de un proyecto financiado por la National
Geographic Society (proyecto NGS-67827R-20), coordinado por Roberto Zariquiey. Participaron
en la su elaboración: Gesica Pérez Rodríguez, Wilian Ochavano Rodríguez, David W. Fleck,
Roberto Zariquiey, Nelita Campos Rodríguez (Nawa Nika), Ruthi Elizabeth Rodríguez Campos
(Nae Hawi) y Germán Campos Rodríguez (Nawa Nisi).

Great image, example, and spelling format. It would be even more amazing to have recordings of the native speech pronunciation too. Lots of good things going on, and a lot of potential improvement! As an up-and-coming linguist who loves preserving culture, this is perfect. (Not to mention the only way to learn this VERY endangered language.) Guess I'll be learning the original language too, so I can understand the details! So much fun!! Please keep it up, it's not just children who want to learn
