Experience CATA Rydz in 3 easy steps: - Book a ride on your smartphone - Get picked up at a designated location - Complete your trip or get a free transfer to CATA fixed route
Here’s how it works: - Download the app - Book your ride by setting your pickup and drop-off addresses - Indicate the number of passengers riding with you - Get picked up within one of the established Rydz zones - Connect with and transfer to the nearest participating transit service provider, or continue to your destination within that zone
Upon booking your trip, you will receive an estimated vehicle-arrival time and the exact location where the driver will pick you up. The arrival time will update as the vehicle makes its way to you. When your driver arrives, board the vehicle, pay your fare or present your transfer slip as payment. There may be other passengers on board, requiring a few additional stops, but your trip is always tracked in real-time so you will know exactly when you will reach your destination.
Have a mobility device? No problem. All of our vehicles are wheelchair accessible and can accommodate walkers, scooters and similar devices.

The "service zones" in Lansing are pathetic small you can't get anywhere with this app. How come the buses go all over the city, I live next to a bus station, but somehow I'm out of the service area, and sometimes it would be nice to prebook a ride like the cata mobile pay app keeps mentioning. If you want this app to even be useful in the Lansing area expand the service areas.
