Update: 3/6/26 issues I complained about have been fixed and app is working as intended on my pixel 9 pro folds. As of 2/27/26 the app doesn't work on my pixel 9 pro fold. The settings button is unlickable under the notifications ribbon at the top of the screen and hitting the start scanning button does nothing even after allowing permissions. If this gets fixed I'll change my review to 5 stars

I can confirm that the UI issues reported by other users have been fixed; the app works great on my Pixel 9 Pro. I tested the app with a friend's Meta glasses, and it works as intended. However, the app needs to be open in the background the entire time it is scanning. If you accidentally close it or your phone's battery management pauses it, it will stop scanning. I think a home screen widget or Quick Settings toggle would improve usability a lot.

Tested this while using the glasses and having non-stop notifications makes it not usable you have to have them on too. It does detect glasses even if they're not recording. I get the purpose of this but as I write this review I'm looking right into my cell phone camera knowing there's not much of a point.

It is secret on my phone. I can't find it or turn it on and off. If I can't see it on my screen I didn't trust it and don't want it. This app is fundamentally unsafe as far as I can tell.

ETA: I have a Pixel, and apparently we all have the same issues. I'll check it out once the app functions for my phone. I love the concept but the "start scanning" button does nothing. That button is the only option in the app, so it is completely useless. I'll be interested again once the app is functioning.
