Update: after using it for 4 years it still works great. I started using it in 2021 and up until 2025 my phone battery capacity was like new. Now I switched to samsung s24 with auto charge stop at 80%, but still use chargie to auto recharge at 50%. / 5 stars. I use it all the time and have no problems. I don't need to check phone battery level anymore, it is done automagically now.

For years, I have plugged my phone in at 70% charge and set an alarm for 30 minutes to remind me to unplug it after it got to around 80%. This device and the application prevent me from having to do that. I plug it in and the charge stops at 85%! I love this! A wonderful solution to effortlessly ensuring battery longevity. Thank you! Great idea but not all versions of the app work with every phone/version of Android - the latest version 3.2.25a stopped my phone charging. The problem is the Bluetooth connection - the app has to be able to connect to the chargie device for charging to start, with this version the app can no longer get a connection. My chargie device is less than 20 cm away fromy phone and the green & red leds flashing as they always have but I get the msg "No chargie devices found".

It'terrible all round, don't bother. I had an old phone & decided to put it in a cradle & use it as a clock with a clock app. I didn't want it charging constantly though, so I bought the Charge C Basic v2 a few weeks ago. I set it to charge from 30% to 80% & it was terrible at it. It was constantly disconnected, then either wouldn't charge or wouldn't stop charging. I tried all settings and options. Constant charging killed my phone, it's now in the bin & soon that's where chargie will be too.

Great idea, put this thing is flaky. I tried to set the hardware limiter low power threshold, but it's jumping all over the place. Tried to use a different phone. App on that phone won't connect.
