Chef Rona - Homemade Recipes

Chef Rona is an Egyptian recipes app with 110 tried-and-tested home recipes, a photo for every step, and a hands-free Cooking Mode. Cook koshari, molokhia, fatta, kunafa and more, in English or Arabic, with every recipe saved offline on your phone.

EGYPTIAN FOOD, TESTED AT HOME
Every dish in this cookbook was cooked and photographed in a real Egyptian kitchen by Chef Rona. Each one comes with clear ingredients, prep and cook times, and step-by-step photos, so home cooking feels easy even on your first try.

AN OFFLINE RECIPE BOOK
No signal in the kitchen? No problem. All recipes and photos are stored inside the app, so your recipe book works anywhere: at home, at the market, or while traveling.

COOKING MODE: HANDS-FREE COOKING
Big, clear steps fill the screen. Any step with a time gets a one-tap timer, Auto mode moves through the steps at your pace, and the screen stays on while you cook. Stop halfway and Cooking Mode remembers your step.

FIND WHAT TO COOK IN SECONDS
Search by dish name or by ingredient and see what you can make with what you have. Arabic search ignores diacritics and spelling variations. Browse categories, or try the recipe of the day on the home screen.

WRITTEN FOR YOUR KITCHEN
The whole app and every dish come in both languages. The English versions are adapted, not just translated: US cups and ounces alongside grams, oven temperatures in °F and °C, and substitutes for ingredients that are hard to find outside Egypt.
