A lot of people think they can easily identify a fake product when they see it.

In reality, it's never quite that simple. Fake products have evolved over the years to become quite like the real ones. For example, a fake malaria drug looks exactly like the original; same look, same feel. Would you really want to leave it to chance? Risk it being fake and then making the condition even worse?

ChekkitApp erases that doubt. By working with the legitimate manufacturers of these products, here's how our app helps you stay safe;

1. When you find a chekkit-secured product, look out for a label on it. Simply scratch the silver panel to reveal two unique codes; a QR code and a PIN. You can either scan the QR code or input the PIN on the app to see if the product is fake, original, or even expired. For every 5 chekkit-secured products you verify, you get N100 airtime for FREE.

2. What if you bought a product and you suspect it's fake? Or perhaps that body lotion gave you a nasty skin irritation? You can report these experiences right on the app. Tell us where you bought it from, what your experience was, and then attach a picture of the product. That simple. Your report is forwarded to the appropriate authorities and manufacturers.

3. Finally, to reward you for being a safety evangelist, you can win chekkit tokens on the app for giving feedback about products and experiences. By completing quick surveys, you can help create better products and experiences for yourself and others. You can cash out your chekkit tokens as cash straight to your bank account or airtime to your registered phone number.
