It's great and helpful and teaches kids how to play chess. Chess kid taught me a lot and it's so fun you can play with people and the bots, and I love to beat the bots and the real people, like chess is the best thing to do when you are sometimes bored.

Great learning platform. It has enough to be worth free play, but the content behind their subscription is well worth the price. Kid friendly. Great parent - child interactivity. Can switch subscriptions between children. Any child subscription grants a parent subscription as well, so come learn with your child! Good wholesome fun and learning.

Lately started letting my kids start a video and then some way into it tells them they have to get Chess Gold. This is extremely manipulative behavior. Now there is a free weekend, but it doesn't even work!!!! I got an email saying Gold features were unlocked this weekend, my kids are very excited to access more lessons than they had access to before, but nope! Everything is still locked behind the paywall and "support" responds within 3 days... after the free weekend is over.

Pay to play.I love this app but I would wish to watch Videos without having to pay. You can only do 6 training levels for free&they only tell you how to move& capture pieces, you have to pay for the rest, not mentoning that you can't even type your own username instead you have to choose from limited opitons that are stupid, please make all training levels free, but you can pay to have training levels customized just for you&please make all bots free, but you can pay to play with the real FunMasterMike
