I am pleasantly surprised at the strength of the AI. It's better than the 960 bots on Chess dot com. This is a good app. Anyone who enjoys 960 should appreciate it. It may not appeal to chess beginners. Even on the easy setting, it is a strong opponent. If beginners stick with it though, I think it would definitely improve their skills.

It's a really fun app. Only two complaints. The engine doesn't recognize draws on repetition nor 50 moves without pawn advance. It only recognizes a draw when there are no legal moves

It is too tough sometimes but easy sometimes

This is so nice to have a random 960 generator fun when you play with a human and have this app does a random shuffle and play off that shuffle great tool to use for fun matches that are unpredictable

Really bad for beginners. Level 1 (the easiest) is so easy that even as a beginner you can win without losing a piece, no problem. Level 2 you get annihilated by the AI every time you make a mistake. You do that a lot as a beginner, so there is no room for progress. It is easy to win, or you get f**ked. No room for involvement. As a beginner not recommended. There is only baby level or expert level
