I came back to this from Lotus Chess because this app is very intuitive, first creating your repertoire, then move trainer, and finally expand your repertoire. Another reason is that everything is in 1 setting unlike lotus chess, it's not only an opening teacher, it shows key ideas for both sides, allowing you to traverse the middle game better. I recommend this to any casual, serious, or tournament level people in chess.

The user interface is confusing and needs a redesign. No way that I can find to select a specific opening to practice. There needs to be a light/dark mode toggle. Started using this with high hopes. It quickly turned into a confusing slog. There is no help system on the website. There is a YouTube video that just leaves you with unanswered questions. It is also an expensive app to use if you want more than 100 moves total for each color.

I am changing my review, I resubscribe for one month but whenever I try to practice or add moves into my repertoire, it asks me to subscribe to the premium which I already have!?

I like the app, but it is buggy for my android Samsung Galaxy and I can't scroll down when looking at my move or practice options menu. If this gets fixed I'll give it 5 stars. Until then, I can't give a positive review to a buggy app where you can't scroll.

Terrible customer support. I contacted Chess book last Sunday about a serious issue with my repertoire/import experience, and they did not reply. I followed up again on Wednesday to remind them of the first email, and still nothing. This is unacceptable for a paid subscription service. When users are paying monthly, basic support is not optional. Ignoring support requests for days, especially after a follow-up, shows a complete lack of respect for customers. The product itself
