Child Support Calculator US

Going through a separation, divorce, or custody dispute is stressful enough without guessing your financial future. Stop relying on outdated spreadsheets and clunky government websites. Child Support Calculator US is the most advanced, accurate, and visually intuitive estimation tool built specifically for modern co-parents.

Whether you are the paying parent (non-custodial) or the receiving parent (custodial), this app provides instant clarity. We built the exact legal frameworks—Income Shares, Percentage of Income, and the Melson Formula—into a secure, private, on-device engine covering all 50 states and Washington D.C.

Don't negotiate in the dark. See your exact monthly obligation, run custody scenarios, and understand your rights before you ever step into mediation or a courtroom.

The "What If?" Custody Slider
Parenting time changes everything. Instantly see how moving from Primary Custody (80/20) to Shared (60/40) or Equal Custody (50/50) impacts your monthly payments. Watch your annual savings update in real-time as you move the slider.

Dual-Perspective View
Toggle instantly between "Paying View" (Red) and "Receiving View" (Green). Clearly see your base obligation, parenting time credits, and total monthly add-ons.

All 3 US Legal Models Handled
We don't use generic math. The app applies exact state guidelines:
• Income Shares Model (41 States): Combines both parents' incomes.
• Percentage of Income Model (6 States): Based purely on the non-custodial parent's income (Includes TX, NY, IL).
• Melson Formula (DE, HI, MT): Accounts for strict self-support reserves.

Flexible Income Converter
Enter your pay the way you know it. Our engine auto-converts Hourly, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Annual salaries into court-standard monthly gross income.

Add-on Expenses Split Fairly
Factor in monthly childcare costs, children’s health insurance premiums, and extraordinary medical expenses to see how courts divide them proportionally by income share.

Who This App Is For:
• Parents in Mediation: Bring real numbers to the table to negotiate fair terms without paying $300/hour for an attorney to do the math.
• Pro Se Litigants: Representing yourself in family court? Print or screenshot your scenarios to back up your legal filings.
• Parents Seeking Modification: Did you lose your job or experience a major income change? Check your state's modification threshold (e.g., 15% change) inside the app to see if you qualify to lower your payments.
• Family Law Professionals: A lightning-fast pocket tool for attorneys, mediators, and paralegals to run on-the-fly estimates during client consultations.

100% Private, Secure & Offline:
Your financial information and custody details are nobody's business. Unlike "free case evaluation" websites that force you to input your email to get your results—and then spam you with calls from law firms—this app is completely standalone. All math is processed locally on your device. No data is stored, transmitted, or shared.
