This app worked really well for tracking my friend. Never used it before 2024 so can't speak to any previous issues in prior years. But for seeing my friend almost exactly where he was on the course and planning to meet at certain spots, worked great. Real time map feature was perfect. Thank you! Also, he didn't need the app as a runner, but it differentiates between runner or spectator, not sure the exact differences but thought I'd mention that.

Great app to follow a runner on the coarse. If I lived in Chicago I would have a tracking device in my car so when it's stolen, I might find it.

Reinstalled after updates & it's great! I love the livestream feature for race day, but was disappointed that it didn't work for me during the race.

The map legend doesn't remember your preferences, so you have to go tap on 10 options to hide all the noise just to see the mile markers. The app used 25% of my phone battery in 53 minutes of usage, most of that locked in my pocket with occasional checks of the positions of the runners I was supporting. Push notifications for runners I was tracking arrived hours late. The graph showing pace vs distance has a legend in miles but shows the actual values in km.

Tracking the runners is not accurate and for me the stats after the race never populated.

This app froze and failed to track runners during the 2021 Chicago Marathon. Frustrating hours wasted trying to find our runner.
