Heartie is a blood pressure diary and cholesterol tracker in one app. Log your readings, store your lab results, and turn months of numbers into a clear PDF report for your doctor.

Free to start. No account, no sign-up, and no daily limit on how often you log a reading or a weigh-in. Heartie carries no advertising.

WHAT YOU CAN TRACK

• Blood pressure and pulse - systolic, diastolic and pulse with notes, full history and charts. Every reading is placed on a standard classification scale, from optimal through the stages of hypertension.
• Your lipid panel - total cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, triglycerides, ApoB and non-HDL-C, in mg/dL or mmol/L, with informational reference ranges. Heartie reminds you when your last panel is getting old.
• Weight and body measurements - goal weight, days to goal, 7- and 14-day averages, body fat and waist, shown as a trend rather than a single number.
• Cholesterol in what you eat - a built-in database of 7,083 foods with cholesterol, protein and fat (total, saturated, mono and poly) for each one.

FOOD TOOLS

• Scan a barcode to pull up a product, or search online when something is missing.
• Build a meal from several products and portions and see the totals at once.
• Check the fat and protein in a specific portion.
• Generate recipes matched to how you eat - keto, paleo and others.
• Add your own products and keep a favourites list.

A REPORT YOUR DOCTOR CAN READ

Instead of scrolling through an app in the consulting room, export a PDF: your pressure trend and averages, highest and lowest readings, weight progress, starting and current BMI, your lipid results, your own notes and a period-over-period comparison. Pick the range - the last 90 days, or whatever your appointment covers. You can also export to CSV or send it by email.

A friend of mine recently was placed on a Statin drug and a Low Glycemic diet, With this application I will be able to assist her much better than trying to wing it and not know what to cook for her. Knowing what foods are high in Cholesterol is a great help. Knowing how to manipulate the Green red and yellow buttons on the bottom of food list page was a great help even more

Worse app I ever tried, the cholesterol ratings are not consistent and wrong. Can't find most of the food by typing the subject words. You're better off just searching the web.

This app has one major problem. It only lists the cholesterol in foods. The designer tells people that there is only cholesterol in animal products. That is untrue. In fact, it isn't terribly accurate to measure the cholesterol of food to determine how much it will affect your cholesterol. SUGAR is one of the worst foods to consume to raise cholesterol and nothing sugary is listed on this app. Look at SUGAR CONTENT BEFORE cholesterol. And SODIUM. Basically, find a better app.

Food list There is only a much food in the list. Even the simple food like prawn / shrimp, broccoli, tomato not in the list. I even already purchase the calculator and I think it is use less cause of my meal are not in the food list.
