Chop Flashlight: Gesture Torch

Turn phone movements into instant shortcuts with Chop Flashlight: Gesture Torch. Double-chop to toggle the flashlight, even when the screen is off. Add twist camera and custom shake actions with Lifetime Pro.

Miss the familiar double-chop flashlight gesture after switching from a Motorola phone to Pixel, Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, OPPO, realme, or another Android device? Chop Flashlight brings a fast flashlight gesture to supported Android phones—without ads or an account.

DOUBLE-CHOP FLASHLIGHT — FREE

Turn the flashlight on or off with one deliberate chop → return → chop motion. No need to unlock the phone, open Quick Settings, find the torch button, or navigate menus.

• Double-chop to toggle the flashlight
• Works while the screen is off
• Start monitoring when the app opens
• Test gestures with live detection feedback
• Choose Less, Standard, or More sensitivity
• Use Pocket Protection on supported devices

The core Chop Flashlight gesture stays free.

SCREEN-OFF FLASHLIGHT GESTURE

Keep gesture monitoring active when the display is off or while using another app. Android shows a persistent notification so monitoring remains visible and can be stopped at any time.

Use the flashlight gesture at night, in a dark room, beside the car, or whenever motion is faster than finding an on-screen button.

POCKET PROTECTION

When a proximity sensor is available, Pocket Protection helps ignore gestures while the phone is covered inside a pocket or bag.

Choose the response that feels natural:

• Less — helps reduce accidental triggers
• Standard — recommended for most users
• More — makes gestures easier to trigger

TEST AND CALIBRATE

Phones differ in sensors, weight, cases, and motion response. Use the built-in test to check whether Double Chop, Twist, or Shake was detected.

Lifetime Pro includes Guided Calibration. Perform several comfortable double-chop motions to create a personal motion profile stored locally on your device.

TWIST CAMERA — LIFETIME PRO

Twist your phone left and right to reach the camera faster. Depending on Android background restrictions, the app opens the camera or provides a visible notification action.

CUSTOM SHAKE ACTIONS — LIFETIME PRO

Turn a shake gesture into a useful Android shortcut:

• Shake to toggle the flashlight
• Shake to open the camera
• Shake to launch a selected app
• Shake for a confirmation vibration
• Detect Shake without assigning an action

Choose an installed app from the searchable on-device picker. Android may require tapping the notification before an app or camera can open from the background.

ONE PURCHASE. NO SUBSCRIPTION.

Lifetime Pro unlocks Twist Camera, custom Shake actions, app launching, and Guided Calibration with a one-time purchase. The free Double Chop flashlight remains available without upgrading.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• No ads
• No account required
• No cloud dashboard
• Gesture activity stays on your device
• Calibration and diagnostic motion samples remain local
• No personal data sold or shared

Review recent detections in Activity and delete your history whenever you want.

BUILT FOR ANDROID

Chop Flashlight works on supported Android phones with the required motion sensors. It is a Motorola-style chop flashlight alternative for Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, Xiaomi, OnePlus, OPPO, realme, and other Android devices.

Compatibility and detection accuracy can vary by phone model, Android version, sensors, battery settings, case, grip, and movement style. Pocket Protection requires a proximity sensor. Continuous screen-off monitoring uses additional battery power.

Download Chop Flashlight and bring the double-chop flashlight gesture to your Android phone.

Chop Flashlight is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Motorola or any device manufacturer.
