Shake Flashlight & Torch

Shake your phone and the flashlight turns on. Shake again and it turns off.
No unlocking, no hunting for a button, no opening an app.

Looking for a torch that turns on without unlocking your phone? That is exactly what this does: no button, no app to open, just shake.

Inspired by the built-in Motorola chop for torch gesture, and it works on any Android phone.

HOW IT WORKS
• Shake with the screen on: instant torch light, every time
• Pick up your phone, then shake: works with the screen off
• Quick Settings tile: light from anywhere, lock screen included
• Adjustable sensitivity: so it fires when you mean it, not in your pocket

MORE CONTROL
• Turns itself off during phone calls, if you want it to
• Starts automatically when your phone boots
• Track your streak and unlock achievements as you go

FREE, WITH NO SUBSCRIPTION
No pop-up ads. The only ads are ones you choose to watch, to unlock extras like the dark theme.

A NOTE ON ANDROID BATTERY SAVING
Android and some phone makers (Motorola, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei and others) stop background apps to save battery. This affects every torch app of this kind, not just ours. We handle it: the app restarts itself automatically when your phone allows it, and tells you what happened when it can't. For the most reliable results, allow background use when the app asks.

Shake Flashlight & Torch was formerly called Shake to Enable Torch: same app, same shake.

Recent changes:
New: an easier sensitivity control on Home and in Settings, with a Test button.

New: if your shakes keep falling short and you never moved the slider, the app makes shaking a little easier by itself.

Simpler video offers.
The notification no longer has a Stop button. Use the switch in the app.
