Description
Chore Checklist helps you manage chores at home or other places. It records chores' completion date and calculates next due date based on your preference. The "automatic reset" feature always gives you a fresh start of each recurring chores. It resets daily chores after midnight(or any hour you specify in "Settings"). For weekly, monthly or other recurring chores, it resets the progress based on conditions(see "Automatic Reset" section in Help for more detail).
It comes with a pre-loaded check list which has routines, such as "Daily Routine", "Weekly Routine", "Monthly Routine" and etc. You can edit them or add new routine/chores. You can set start/end date, reminder, progress, and notes for each chore.
You will need to install this app on your phone(not SD card) in order to add a widget to home screen.
The app also allows you to create multiple lists. In "Due Date View", the user can combine multiple lists into one view sorted by due date.
This lite version has Ads and the following features are disabled: *View, export/email history report *Sync/Share/Backup lists (separate purchase of Cloud Connector is required. However, this feature will be retired at the end of 2023. ***Upgrade from Lite to Full app: When you upgrade from lite to full, you can use the "Backup and Restore" feature to migrate your data. To backup your lists, open the lite app and click on "Menu"->"Backup and Restore"->"Backup" in Routine View. Then click on "Backup" to use the default folder or "Select Folder" to choose a different location. Then open the full version, click on "Menu"->"Backup and Restore"->"Restore". It will open default backup location. Choose the folder which contains backup files and click on "Restore". If you have chosen a different backup location, then navigate to that location and click on "Restore".

I really like this app and have been using it for several years. I just have one suggestion. There is currently an option to skip a chore which automatically sets it to its next due date. I would like an option to postpone a chore instead. Sometimes it's not feasible to do a chore on the original due date, but skipping it entirely doesn't make sense (especially for chores that aren't done very frequently). It would be great if I could highlight the chore and select to postpone for say a day or a week depending upon when I can get to it, without actually changing future due dates. (Ex. Say I clean the bathroom on Monday, but Monday I am out of town. I can postpone clean the bathroom for one day, to Tuesday, but my regular due date will still remain Monday for the following week)

This app is very detailed oriented on specific items to clean... BUT it doesn't have any repetitive notifications (it only bings once) that goes off every second on that very exact day. If I get distracted by something else then I'd like an app that would remind me to get back on track with my chores.

In 16 months this app has crashed four times completely deleting my lists/data. Forcing me to start from scratch even though I backed everything up. It would not restore. Also, the minimum time frame to repeat tasks is either daily or a minimum of once per week. It would be much better if it gave the option to choose every other day and also kept track of the last four times the activity was completely. Would get five stars if it did!
