Glad to have this back on latest Android/Samsung 👍
★★★★★Michael Booth (Astronomytales)· Apr 2, 2026
Handy App for primarily cloud cover but temperature, wind and precipitation info also included for anywhere you might be on Planet Earth. Easy to Use. Accessible Format. First Light Optics in UK are very generous to provide this App.

Better of with the Met Office app, I recently got back into astrophotography and if I'd relied on the information in this app I would have missed around 5 imaging nights in the space of a couple of weeks. I used to use it around 5 year ago, and I'm sure it was a lot more accurate then.

This app is far from intuitive and doesn't have a legend of any kind that tells you what certain colors mean. It doesn't even have a Settings to make changes to the way you want to see the temperature or wind speed. Worst part is, it isn't accurate! So how can someone use it to plan an event or a photo opportunity? I'm going back to Atmospheric. At least the little information it provides is correct 99% of the time.
