The Cobu apps help residents to stay in formed and up to date on upcoming events in their community. It allows residents to network with each other, list ideas, hobbies, items for sale, even to find whose pet is lost.

I like this because we can keep in touch with our neighbors and know what's going on all the time! They do a lot of great events here, and it's great to be able to know when they are and track them. They keep this up to date, and have helped us to organize some community groups as well.

The community where I live, The Residences at Browns Farm (in Grove City, OH), uses the Cobu app to communicate with residences (via monthly newsletter), keep everyone in the loop about community sponsored events, member group activities & as a vehicle to for residences to communicate with each other. Another really nice feature is the Marketplace 'group' that allows people in the community to offer for sale household-type items. Cobu is an excellent tool/app for communities! Happy we have it

Messaging doesn't work (Community Manager, no, the update doesn't fix it. It doesn't "work fine"). Have no idea where the five-star reviews could have come from besides Coby employees and their friends and family.

Slow loading times, broken scrolling, inconsistent notifications. Don't see much value in the cobu staff being involved in the group

Good idea, garbage execution. Takes several minutes to scroll because it will scroll a couple inches and then freeze. This happens every. Single. Time. No exceptions. Direct messages do not even pretend to work. The message buttons just bring you to a blank page. Notifications pop up with no context and don't bring you to the post when you click on them. Works for event planning and that's about it.
