This app does not or is not working. If it is working I can't figure it out. It zooms to my location and that is it. It does not show any results fir anywhere in the country. All the views shown in the Play Store do not work in the app. The original app worked great until they just dropped it with no support at all. Get rid of the new version and go back to the original that worked just fine. One final thing my Android phone says the code red app keeps crashing and wants me to put it to sleep

Does NOT work as shown in the pictures and in videos. This is a scam. The apps feature and quality is very poor. It takes a very long time to load and has no option to customize notifications as shown in videos. The app crashes all the time. All you can do is look at a map and adjust the alert range. If you go to the notification settings, it is defaulted to silent. The apps photo on the play store look lame and not attractive and the alerts are called Circle, Square, and Polygon.

Nov 2025, CodeRED was hit by a ransomware attack by a cybercriminal group. Hackers breached the environment, stole usernames, emails, phone numbers, and profile passwords, and caused catastrophic damage to the system's infrastructure. The network damage was so severe, the company made the decision to completely pull the plug. They permanently decommissioned the legacy CodeRED platform and its associated mobile apps, causing them to stop functioning on the Google Play Store.
