An Excellent Outliner Great for writing outlines and personal wikis. Notes are in HTML format with style sheet and JavaScript support, which gives a lot of flexibility. Note linking includes the usual parent/children but adds friend links and also allows a child to have multiple parents - very useful. Task management is handy but basic: you can tick a note in the outline but there are no due dates and therefore no schedules, so it's fine for a simple "to do" list.

Love it! I adore this 😄 it is by far my favorite outliner app. However, recently I switched Google accounts & got the pro version a couple of days ago. Since then, it has kept closing on me randomly when I am trying to write notes. I'm guessing it's a bug, or maybe it's nova launcher (or maybe they just don't like each other?) IDK, but it likes to happen most often after canceling a note, although it does happen in the middle of writing a note too.

Recomented The more I use it - the more hooked I get on this brilliant and simple to use outliner and note-taking apk! :-) The only thing I miss, is a sister editor for PC, for adding notes and continued editing from the PC. For syncing notes between Android devices (and online-backup) I use the app Folder Sync -best in category. NoteLynX have so many features, that it might have a steeper learning curve, if you want to take advantage of all its features - but it is well worth the effort!!! And a responsive developer!

This would be the perfect app for my needs, if it wasn't so blasted
ridiculous to actually use; to be fair, keep that in mind with this review,
for the "disappointment factor" tends to amplify the negatives. Interactive
tutorial, or even an adequate guide on their website would help a great
deal. You think they'd at least have some basic definitions, and images
indicating what they're referring to. They do? Well, then that's another
example of "... blasted ridiculous to actually use."; where are they? It
doesn't have a learning curve, it has a learning wall. Also, it's really
difficult to tell what is subordinate to what else with all the different
screens and arrows; you tend to end up with a bunch of dupes of the same
keyword within the same keyword, or unintended inversions of hierarchies.
Another litigator though, to be fair; I'm using this on a chromebook.
Perhaps it's better on an Android, and if the user is familiar with using
Android devices? Anyway, hope that helps someone.

Needs a wiki format Look into adding wiki format creole v2 std. Still using and wiki for my tiddly wikis. Did not try importing wiki2html JavaScript. I like the HTML in edit mode, but it should take wiki/markdown as well. And HTML should be an option to display novice vs expert mode

Confusing and counter-intuitive controls long tap short tap double tap cloning - can't get slick at operating this. Could be really useful but so awkward to use. Using Orgzly now.

Mindmappinh is a simple way to make complex topics relatable. This app is
overly complex and complicates simple topics. I gave it two attempts and
then threw up my hands in exasperation. It is not graphics based.
