After hooking up a heart rate sensor, the app can display it during a ride, but for some reason won't record it. I'm left with the choice to track my rides either with my Garmin watch that does record HR, or Flow that records power and cadence. Please add the already available HR data to my ride stats. That, or let the unit also transmit data (ANT protocol) to other devices - like Shimano and Yamaha do. My second gripe is that there is no way to disable automatic route recalculation at all.

Great app but am I the only one who feels like it chews through phone batteries? Just tried it, used 10% of my S24 battery in 25 mins. So full to flat in 4 hours. I know my phone battery is good. I can use Komoot all day with no worries about battery life so just use that now. Only have the system controller so no USB port to power my phone without buying more hardware... Post response from Bosch : Doesn't really explain the difference between you and Komoot. Feel brushed aside...

After may26 update navigation and gps malfunction- extremely poor experience. Basically whole app is trash. Lots of bugs

Eagerly awaited the 120 nm update. Only app version 1.34.7 is available to me on play store. There is no update for the app available to me and no direct download on the Bosch ebike systems website. Just a link to the same old version that I already have. Heart rate recording Still doesn't work despite buying the Knox 400 and subscribing to flow+ which imo is a liberty for a function that's free elsewhere. My experience of Bosch gen 5 since Sept will ensure that Avinox powers my next bike.

The app itself is ok but every single time you open it to ride your bike, you have to dismiss an ad to subscribe to Flow+. I don't use it often because it's pretty annoying, despite having some potential good functionalities. It also hides basic statistics behind the paywall of Flow+. This all is a good showcase of enshittification through subscription. Navigation is better than Google Maps but much worse than Grovel or other apps.

Overall decent but I get an error when exporting GPX files from trail forks and importing them into this app, the error simply says the route cannot be imported, if it told me what syntax problems the file had I could fix it, but it doesn't.... UPDATE: the app will reject GPX files with more than 60 entries, I have a trail forks file with 1,462 gps coordinates, and exhaustive testing of decimation resulted in 60 points working and 61 points not working. This route decimation requirements is bad.

After riding Bosch powered bikes for over 11 years I'm done with you guys. You're so far behind avinox, absolutely useless updates trying to stay relevant. I can't see any manufacturers wanting to make a Bosch powered bike now and certainly most of the emtb community won't be paying top money for an under powered bike! 👋
