Comments on Gentle Wakeup: Sun Alarm Clock for Android

★★★★★ Pam Risley · Feb 22, 2026

I enjoy waking up to the pleasant sounds of birds rather than an alarm. When I set this alarm, I have no doubt it will wake me in the morning.

★★★★★ Christine Tenekjian · Feb 23, 2026

Still love this app after many years of using it. I wake up gradually every day with light and birds chirping, instead of being jolted awake by a sound alarm. 🥰 only a few glitches on rare occasions.

★★★★★ Lisa Richmond · Feb 27, 2026

Gentle Wakeup Alarm Absolutely love this alarm, nothing else will wake me but the bright light. Thank you for making this alarm! Also love the gentle birds singing 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Terrible app. Never got any of it to work. The one alarm that sort of went off didn't have any sound despite me setting it up, and said I had hit snooze the instant it went off without touching it. I was holding my phone in my hand, wide awake, just testing it. Uninstalling.

★☆☆☆☆ aw55550 · Apr 28, 2026

Had the setting with lights and birds chirping. After a week or so the birds stopped chirping, so I woke up late 3 times in a row. Yes, all permissions needed are granted. Sorry, have to uninstall this. This is unacceptable.

★☆☆☆☆ Ash A · Apr 13, 2026

It never works on my phone. I have set all the necessary permissions and yet it never triggers. The only thing it notifies me is "missed alarm"
