Description
Packing List helps you create and maintain packing lists. It not only lets user to create a list from scratch, but also allows you to generate lists from an existing one. This application comes with several pre-loaded packing master lists. You can simply open the master list(or any existing list). Click on “Generate List/Mass Change” menu item. Check the items you want for your trip and you will have a new packing list ready in no time.
You can group items by category, location and luggage. Each items also has note, quantity and weight fields. Mass change features allow you to edit lists more easily. You may also email and share your lists. Printing out a copy of the lists helps you in case of lost luggage.

***Upgrade from Lite to Full app: When you upgrade from lite to full, you can use the "Backup and Restore" feature to migrate your data. To backup your lists, open the lite app and click on "Menu"->"Backup and Restore"->"Backup" in Routine View. Then click on "Backup" to use the default folder or "Select Folder" to choose different location. Then open the full version, click on "Menu"->"Backup and Restore"->"Restore". It will open default backup location. Choose the folder which contains backup files and click on "Restore". If you have chosen different backup location, then navigate to that location and click on "Restore".

Perfect app. Have used it for years now. I have my own Master List at this
point which means I've tossed theirs. I have template lists for types of
trips - hiking, skiing, trips with dogs, airplane, etc. I do find it
important to know how to copy things from one list to another as the basic
packing seems to alter over the years a bit. You need to remember to do
that when you add items at the current list level -- you need to copy that
back to the master list and any template lists. But even when I was
creating spreadsheet lists years ago I found that I was looking at the most
recent trip of any type AND the most recent list of "this type" to come up
with the current list. But it is something that you have to do, otherwise
that new medicine gets left home.

Once you get the Full version, the cloud connector, and Register for the service, it works seamlessly. Support is excellent. Got back to me twice within 2 minutes with advice. And ... the advice was bang on. Great purchase.

I have been using lite for at least 3 years (possibly more). I figured I would upgrade to the full version so that I could type up my list on the PC and then when I'm with my phone everything would be there. I have numerous issues with this: 1) the app info tells you can sync between multiple devices - what it does NOT tell you is you NEED cloud connector to sync with PC - it should just charge you the $3 so that you automatically get the cloud connector in the full version. 2) In order to do the initial setup it REQUIRES you to completely force close and/or restart your phone just to get the online sync. 3) The lite version did NOT automatically roll over to the full version - therefore I had to print off my original lite list and input everything into the full version! 4) Having to click on the + symbol just to add an item under a category is AWFUL! I should just be able to click enter and get to a new item - it only does this when entering a new category. 5) Every placeholder text box you have to delete the words"NEW ITEM0" (and yes there is a zero at the end of item in on the PC website) just to input your text. PC Categories should color coated for easy separation.

Used to be good, now total rubbish. Latest update introduced bug where completed items 'incomplete' themselves. Developer blames autosync which is complete hogwash. His impatient and very brief emails demonstrate he's not interested. I've explained that autosync is not taking place when the items uncheck themselves. He hasn't bothered to reply. Updates were always few and far between and this app offers much less than others, but to be told to be patient whilst autosync is 'improved' is an insult

4/2024 update: Now they are trying to force users to use an updated version 2, and they completely eliminated syncing with the existing version. New version omits essential features. Rip off. I paid for the full version but would not have if I knew they were going to cripple the system. I used to be able to edit my lists online with pc then sync to android. They changed the system so that you have to pay for a cloud add on to be able to sync between online and android. Not cool.

This is not a FULL version! Don't buy it I actually purchased this app under the assumption that FULL VERSION meant FULL VERSION! Don't bother. The only thing you get for buying the full version is a Weather check and no ads. If you want to use the full capabilities of syncing etc., you have to pay yet again for a "cloud connection." I have a number of applications that will sync between my phone and pc and tablet, but they don't require a "cloud connection." Furthermore, most people are not packing suitcases everyday, so it is quite senseless to expect a user to buy a cloud connection just to be able to prepare for a trip on occasion and sync lists. You cannot use the online editor without a cloud connection! How worthless is that. I WOULD HAVE NEVER PAID FOR THIS APP IF I HAD REALIZED THAT FULL VERSION WAS NOT CORRECT!
