All the benefits of Samsung S5 built-in heart rate sensor with none of the intrusive 'terms' Samsung puts on their overkill 'Samsung Health' app now required to simply access their own heart rate hardware. Accurate readings and useful tracking, no extra 'features.' Years later, works just as well with the same advantages on my new old stock S10.

I am happy to have found this app, as far as I can tell it is one of the few heart rate monitors that you can actually purchase to make it AD free! Typically, apps in this genre are overloaded with ads! Functionality is great with a very accurate result and the ability to use the heart rate detection on samsung models that have it (not many, if any do). And with the Google fit integration this is a nice app indeed. Get this, pay the one-off payment and be ad free !!

To date, there are no apps available on the Play Store that use the fingerprint sensor to measure heart rate outside the MIUI environment. All apps rely solely on the camera and flash.

Some changes in the last update now prevents it from syncing with Google fit. It wants to sync with some new Google app but if I attempt to choose that, it bricks the app, and I have to clear all my data and start over.

When enabling the Health Connect option, the app just hangs. I had to stop the app manually, and now it hangs on restart. I had to uninstall it and reinstall it to get it working again. I ensured that all the permissions were set in the health connect app for it, but that didn't seem to make a difference. I'm using a Moto G stylus 5 with Android 13
