Recent changes: This latest release adds nutrition label parsing from photos. When creating a food, you now have the option to take a photo of its nutrition label. The app will then attempt to fill out the food's fields with info from the label.

The fact that the free version is so comprehensive is amazing! Every other app makes you pay to get actual recipes and meal recommendations, while Eat This Much doesn't. That alone is worthy of 5 stars.

Almost great. Makes meal planning a lot easier. But keeps repeating meals. I've had the same meal for four dinners in a week

It recommended 894 calories a day which is dangerously low. I'm 152 cm, 52 years old & workout 7 days a fortnight. I walk everywhere & average 12,000 steps a day. My active calorie burn ranges 250-800 per/day unless in bed with a cold or flu. This is seriously ridiculous. I need to lose 2kgs & because it's such a small amount (4.4 lbs), I'm ok with losing it at a quarter kg per/month. That's just 250 calorie deficit per/day. But it obviously did a massive deficit without thought to basic health.

The generator ignores recurring foods and is very hard to use for meal prepping. Hopefully they make the app more usable in the future.

I don't know why they think you're psychic. Most people have jobs and the meals they eat are prepared the day before. Unless you buy their "premium" version, you don't get to see meals or grocery lists until the day comes. Yeah, I could just use the current day plan for tomorrow, but it still doesn't show the grocery list for each item on one screen.
