I've been using Ecosia for a while now, and it's become my default search engine. The search results are good for everyday use, and I really like that the ad revenue helps fund tree planting and environmental projects. It's an easy way to make a small positive impact without changing my daily routine. The interface is clean, it's easy to use, and it works well across my devices. Definitely worth trying if you want a more eco-friendly alternative to traditional search engines.

It's a good app, and it's helping the environment, but I do have one issue, whenever I try to check my chat history, nothing ever shows up. As well as I keep getting asked if I'm a human or not, but I think that's mostly my fault.

You can plant trees by being dumb--I mean curious!😅😅 and their AI uses green energy, so you can stop thinking--i mean get the answers you were looking for faster without having to worry about wasting 5 billion gallons of water!! I've used this app for over 5 years, and it's only gotten better. Have recommended it to my friends and family. Lt is indistinguishable from Google with its speed, accuracy, and amount of search results, and you can turn off AI overview!! And you plant TREES!!!

I quite liked the service, the idea of planting trees for searches. Seemed like a good cause. But with the recent Ai-implementation you're just destroying everything again. There's nothing green about it, and you're destroying what want to build up and destroying your branding. Nice Greenwashing

Remove the AI. It makes it seem like you are being disingenuous about being eco-friendly and I no longer trust you. If I'm going to be strong-armed into using AI anyway, why wouldn't I pick a browser with better specs and more features? There is no way your AI is "eco-friendly". Even if you do use renewable energy (I doubt it) that energy could be better spent replacing fossil fuel energy used on something actually useful. The trees you plant cannot undo the damage normalizing AI will create.

Used to really enjoy this app but was super disappointed to see the incoorpation of AI in from 'green' search engine. Also started to get buggy, and I kept having to verify I am in fact human. I now use DuckDuckGo
