I quite liked the service, the idea of planting trees for searches. Seemed like a good cause. But with the recent Ai-implementation you're just destroying everything again. There's nothing green about it, and you're destroying what want to build up and destroying your branding. Nice Greenwashing

It works well once you turn off the llm clutter, they plant trees for every n number of searches which is great, it's just a shame they bought into the AI fad and are trying to pass it off as 'ethical', but unfortunately it's nearly impossible to find a browser without that kind of enshittification built in. Can't wait for the bubble to burst but in the meantime Ecosia is an adequate replacement for G**gle.

Is so annoying. You need a clean search engine instead you have a full novel about planted trees. Stats about trees in a main search engine need to be optional. See google to learn.
