21/09/25 When launching the app, at the first 2 seconds a white screen is shown. Then my fingerprint is requested and the color changes to dark. In the settings I have enabled dark mode. Please add the color of the launch screen to match the dark mode setting. Other than that, the app is very good. 10/07/26 Still not solved. Also, the new logo is boring compared to the old.

EToro is not transparent with fees. There is no breakdown of the conversion costs after a transfer. A few assets are handled as CFD's in my country, but this was not communicated before the purchase. I had to open a $ wallet and pay exchange fees (twice, for the deposit and withdrawal). Only a few days later a € wallet appeared in my account. Their AI told me that I could have transferred the money free of charge in-between the eToro wallets, but that was after the withdrawal...

If I wanted the most basic and useless AI based on Elon Musk's failed X to have access to my trades and personal data I would keep using this terrible excuse of a trading platform. This latest version is so bad that I am closing my account. FAIL

I wish I knew better and never chose to use eToro, it charges you SO MUCH in my personal case: stock trades now cost $1 for open, another $1 for closing. Huge gap between buy price and real-time price. FX conversion is 0.5% with no opt-out below $250k equity, flat $5 withdrawal fee, intermediary bank fees up to $75/transfer, and a $10/month inactivity fee(🤬). Compare: Trading212 charges $0 commission + 0.15% FX; IBKR charges 0.002% FX. PLEASE be careful and check if you have better options.
