New points system for me probably wasn't something I'd thought of but will be better for me, I think. Still getting a lot of great vouchers anyway plus I now have the ability to reach the higher goals. There is just two of us so due to cooking from scratch I rarely got to the £150 marker before. Now I'll continue saving for the money off or take voucher I actually want to spend at that shop.

The app is working fine, but the new points (rewards) system is not worthy.... you have to spend 500 pounds to get 5 pounds off... seriously 🤬🤬🤬 Not good enough 😞

Well done Lidl you've taken a great rewards scheme and ruined it. I used to make the effort to shop every month at lidl especially when I received my 10% reward each month. I certainly won't bother with this new scheme as the rewards aren't worth it. I suspect Aldi will see increased profits this year as a result

Since Lidl has switched to their new rewards system customers are getting a much worse deal. You'd now have to spend £1500 to get enough Lidl points for the equivalent deals you got before the new system. Lidl claimed this is what customers asked for but guarantee that is not the case. The fact the app is needed to get Lidl prices means it's now like the other supermarkets if nominally cheaper. Going to be Switching to Aldi going forward.
