LATEST VERSION FIXED PROBLEM! Lidl Pay was working on 2026-06-05, but not 2 days later after an update was installed. Only gives error message Try Again in both configuration and enable. Cleared cache and tried uninstallation followed by installation. All other functions, including points and digital receipts, seem okay. Had to use Google Pay to pay

The new points system is not as good as the old loyalty spending targets. I used to go in all the time to get my free items and would end up buying more than I needed, but now I don't shop in Lidl as much anymore. The new self-checkout tills also don't work properly. Very frustrating to shop here now. Seriously thinking to switch to Aldi.

Updated, logged out, account locked. I updated the app. Then it logged me out. My saved password did not work. Requested code(s) via e-mail and SMS. From the FIRST attempt we only got error saying "capacity exceeded". Tried e-mail code and SMS code several times. Then our account was locked. Terrible update experience. Now we can not use the app, and we will not go to this place until they solve this problem.

Cameron Pye's review was perfectl The new loyalty scheme is a rip-off. You used to get 10% coupons EVERY month (£250 spend). Now it's a points scheme - 1 point for £1 spent. You can only get a lump sum coupon now (no % discount) e.g. £5 off for 500 points i.e. you have to spend £500 to get £5. This is approx half the earning rate of previously. A free cheese twist costs £100 lol (100 points). Lidl are being disloyal to their customers. Aldi beckons. Digital receipt turns on EVERY use too. FFS
