Comments on Voice Recorder for Android

This is indeed a voice recorder. I don't know how to translate it into Japanese though. This is fine though, because I don't speak Japanese.

★★★★★ Patricia Hunter · Sep 3, 2026

Best recorder app ever. Clear and concise sound quality is great. Helps for remembering little notes too. Perfect especially when you have memory loss sometimes.

★★★★★ Asiya shahru Haruna · Aug 27, 2026

I just like the way it records my nice voice whenever I feel like my voice is amazing., I rush over to the voice recorder

★★★★★ Brian Murray · Sep 7, 2026

GREAT TOOL FOR RECORDING NOTES TO YOURSELF OR THINGS HAPPENING AROUND YOU. ALSO, GOOD IF YOU ARE A songwriter AND A RIFF POPS INTO YOUR HEAD AND YOU DON'T WANT TO FORGET IT!

★★☆☆☆ Rob Hall · Sep 25, 2026

I've used this app for years, and it's always been OK, although it would fail to record several times when it was critical. Now it's doing it all the time. It stops recording if I turn the screen off, and I don't have power saver on, and it has full permissions. I can't seem to figure out how to keep it recording while the screen is off.

★★☆☆☆ Jason Lyons · Sep 11, 2026

Recordings aren't transferring automatically from my Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 to my S26 Ultra, despite all permissions granted and reinstalling etc. Also, the fact that there's no automatic upload to a Cloud based folder is a huge oversight. If it doesn't change I'll switch back to Easy Voice Recorder which does all of the above. Please fix 🙏🏻

The more you edit the file's transcription or audio file itself, the slower the file loads when you open it. After about 3 or 4 edits, the file crashes and subsequently, so does the app. Even if the edit is removing one letter or cropping out one second, the file crashes after you save it and open it, regardless of how small the file is itself.

★☆☆☆☆ Sam Clune · Aug 21, 2026

1 star because I want someone to pay attention. Really a great application I have been using the application for many years. At this point I have 185000 or do recordings. This makes the application slow. Would be SO NICE if there was a way for me to organize by year. Allowing me to say. These previous years don't need to be accessible to me in active application memory every time I use the application. So when I use this application only this year's notes are accessible to active memory.
