A great notes taking app, can do more than just taking notes, very useful privacy and security features like e2e encryption and note locking are fine additions as well as encrypted back-ups, this is a great privacy respecting app and also can be self-hosted as well ui very minimal and clean, it is sleek, and I like it.

I love that theirs no ads on Standard Notes. However, I would like to have text formatting options and font sizes to be featured on this app.

Full of paywalls and lacks basic features like vertical scrollbar in long notes. How is one supposed to go to end of long notes quickly, or just scroll somewhere in a long note? Also, when you switch to other apps and then briefly open the app again, the notes you were working on briefly show on the screen, even though encryption is on and workspace is set to lock immediately each time. Maybe instead of filling the app with useless paywalls spend some time on basic functionality? Hard pass.

I've decided to look for other options. The UI changes from the old red theme were stale on arrival and haven't improved since. Pretty much every other open source app on my phone supports the newer look and feel of android. The app is still buggy too, so in preparation of migrating to a different app I exported my notes, however the export didn't finish until ten minutes later after I had given up and closed it. I hate to leave, but I've waited years now, and I want a better experience.

Most of the features are not available on the free version. It won't let me upload files, and it doesn't let you upgrade to the professional version through the app. When you search for the paid/ professional version its nowhere to be found

I am facing a severe problem where I am unable to share my Notes. If I select more than one Note and click on "share" I get no response. Share button remains dormant and unusable. I downloaded this app due to its convenience of being able to share all my Notes at once to an external storage. This is a dealbreaker problem for me. I hope this issue gets acknowledged and fixed ASAP.
