Works fine, and it's open source. Shame to see this many bad reviews when they don't understand how to use this. This could be improved using OCR, but apart from that good job.

This app works reliably on Australian passports, and its chip-reading functionality can be easily integrated into other apps. Great job!
★★★★★Roy Badami· Oct 22, 2021
Happy to have an open source reader to safely allow me to test that the chip in my new passport works.
★★★★★Jonathan Cross· Feb 10, 2019
Worked for me, US passport. Important that it is Open Source, so we can review how it works. Doesn't ask for unnecessary permissions. This is a good app! Note: you can tap on the year to change it.

Stupid app which makes you spend ages scrolling back through a calendar month by month to be able to enter expiry and dates of birth, that's 800 odd months to get to my birthday!
★☆☆☆☆Seksan M.· Oct 6, 2022
NFC not read (it works with other apps), fill all 3 fields, place passport under the phone, but nothing happen!
★☆☆☆☆Haider Zainy· May 27, 2019
It does not work, and I suspect it is designed to steel your passport details
★☆☆☆☆Mickael· Oct 27, 2018
You have to select your date of birth using a calendar input. If you are born in the 80, you will have to scroll month by month to 20 plus years ago. Make it so we can type in the date of birth field! I don't have the time to scroll through 30 years month by month
