Waypoint Free

★★★★★ Great app. Takes me to my car in massive parking lots. Never have to remember where I parked!!

★★★★★ Great Take a few minutes to figure it out - and even the free app is great. The map is lurking in the radar section IIRFC, once you can plot your waypoint on a map you're golden. My requirement was to mark a spot so I could find it back again including a spot on the lake. Google Maps always wants to associate a street address with a location, so it's not good. This app WILL do this. I did note a bug the first time I used it, it was complaining the coordinates were required when I marked a spot, even though the coordinate values were already populated by the phones GPS. Issue went away with 2nd waypoint though, np. You could also use this for finding your car, if you're like me....

★★☆☆☆ Teaser garbage The free app is useless and shows no potential of the pro version. And I'm not going to pay for it unless I can try it 1st.

★★☆☆☆ Waaaaaaay too hard to use. Stay away from this app, I have been using computers of all types since 1984 and am an advanced user with a technology degree. Even I can't figure out how to use this thing. When plotting waypoints, expect them to actually not be plotted where you are pointing at either, don't be shocked if they are plotted the next town over. The UI is unnecessarily complicated, and you can't even look at a map until you are ready to plot your first waypoint, and when you put in the coordinates and put in save sometimes it will tell you it can't save until you put in the coordinates again, and when you put in the coordinates and put in save sometimes it will tell you it can't save until you put in the coordinates again, and when you put in the coordinates and put in save sometimes it will tell you it can't save until you put in the coordinates again, and when you put in the coordinates and put in save sometimes it will tell you it can't save until you put in the coordinates again, and when you put in the coordinates and put in save sometimes it will tell you it can't save until you put in the coordinates again, and when you... get the picture? One stare. This app is a joke.
