Download unlimited maps from a library of more than 300 vector maps. Choose from topographic, satellite, hiking, biking and road maps, OpenStreetMap, Mapnik, OpenSeaMap, USGS Topo, Canada Toporama, NOAA nautical charts and other raster and vector sources.

Create, Record and Share Trails

Record your journey as you travel or create a custom trail before you leave. Organize saved tracks, review trail statistics and elevation profiles, and share routes with friends.

Create waypoints and attach notes and coordinate-tagged photos, then organize locations with a searchable waypoint filing system.

Import and export trails, waypoints, notes and photos using GPX, KML and KMZ files. Import GPX files from Garmin, exchange routes with other users, view your data in Google Earth or upload tracks and waypoints to OpenStreetMap.

Many years of using GPS Waypoints App to locate gold prospecting claims & recording each spot we've found gold, highly recommend it! Easy & accurate! Would be 5 stars if the app retained the "Map Waypoints" selection and "Trail" visibility when I need to add a new Waypoint. After adding one, and saving it to the same folder, I have to start over to see them all mapped again. Re-selecting Trails to show is awful! (Claim boundaries for us.) Otherwise, good app for outdoor activities.

This App is the best GPS tool ever for most simple reason! It is simple! Straight to the point! Can record or draw your own tracks! Runs on very little memory, flawless offline maps! I feel safe with this app! One recommendation is when you're recording your trails live! It's nice to have all the stat info (speeds/elevation changes aswell) but still works* I can take screenshot of stats in compass mode if I want to keep track of data! Thanks for the most elegant of GPS map tools ever!!

I use my Android phone (Moto E 2nd gen in 2020; see 2025 update below) for MANY purposes but don't have a data plan. This is the only program I found (so far) that allows me to store maps to my SD card and access them for GPS routing, etc., without a Wi-Fi connection or data plan. I download all the maps and create waypoints while connected to Wi-Fi, but then can go off on the road or the trail and this app works. July 2025 Update: still love & use this app with my Samsung Galaxy S25.

This app will not get a lock on my location. I've sitting at the top of a hill for 30 minutes. Followed the instructions in help. Downloaded GPS Reset, did the reset, still no lock on this app, but I can get a lock with GPS Reset app. What the hell? I'm using the ad free version too. I want to a refund.

Vector maps have not been updated in the last 5+ years. If you don't download (and use) your raster maps - you may end up in the bushes... The app is only as good as the latest maps.

Totally tucked up my compas on my phone. Tried al kind of settings. Calibrating with other GPS has south again and this app made it 30 to 35 degrees wrong
