I can't write to the root of my SD card on Android 13. My workaround is to create a Drop sync folder on the card and in Dropbox. This paired set of folders is auto-synced both ways. -- On the phone I copy file or folder and paste to the Drop sync folder. It gets synced to the cloud. On the PC, I move it out of the Drop sync folder. It's gone from the phone's Drop sync folder after another sync. -- Reverse the process from the PC to the phone. It's automatic.

Claims all the time, that the battery settings are wrong and preventing background functions - even though "Allow background usage" is on for this app... UPDATE: None of the options described in the in-app instructions exist on my Android 14 (LineageOS 21) device, so no way to disable something that does not exist.

Only one folder for free, use folder sync instead.
