Useful as an overlay for Tracklia navigation app which lacks a compass. It is a little difficult to read north and south in full sunlight.

Nice and smooth, but the dark red North needle is hard to tell apart from the black South needle under bright sunlight. The red needle should be solid brght red instead of just an outline.

You have to make the north pointer brighter red, and make it a widget so that it's not constantly appearing of the upper right-hand corner every time I start it as an overlay. Or making sure that the app remembers where the overlay was the last time it was used so that it's not constantly snapping to the upper right-hand corner upon a new use or restart.

As another user mentioned, compass doesn't display properly when in landscape. I have a Z Fold 3. The app doesn't adjust even though the overlay works. It's still showing the compass in portrait. If you tap the overlay while in an app that is in landscape such as Waze the compass opens in portrait. I'm assuming this is why it doesn't display properly. Great idea and works fine otherwise. But being that many people would use this during navigation while phone is turned I can only give two stars.
