Dismally translated, barely thought through, often dumb, but still fun in a jeez-this-is-dumb sort of way. Oodles of free content at least. Choices often make no sense; it's easy to get killed owing to having no clear option. Could be markedly more fun with help from native English speakers

Love it, and whenever I play it I felt patriotic about Communism side and the events are very hard, but I manage beat it even though accepted Albania's offer which might prevent me from taking over the world. Only the thing I didn't like that some choices are impossible, and you can't proceed in that event. The Tsar or Tsar the side I haven't played yet, because suspect that it is almost impossible with odds in favor of The Bolsheviks, but I'm going to try anyway. I hope improvements for your games

This is pretty awful, the English is difficult to understand and is constantly taking me out any kind immersion even if I try to force myself into it. It goes something like "this woman wants promotion, you want promotion, czar likes woman. What should you do?" Options "listen czar, convince czar, etc." eventually I understood what was being said including the options but it's a very severe problem. Normally I would give this 2 stars but because its FOUR!?? Dollars for this not to mention the short play through is less than 5 minutes before you hit the paywall and all you got was incomprehensible English I say this really should be given negative stars because it's so bad.

I think the main problem with Hosted Games is that they don't really seem
to have any standards when it comes to publishing games by people who don't
speak English as their first language, for fear of looking racist. I think
it would have been better for the writer, and for HG as a whole, if they
suggested that the writer have the game more thoroughly beta tested before
they published it.

Didn't relised the cost of producing a text based game was so high that Hosted Games had to change their writers from people to a certified cactus with a degree in writing.
