We're thoroughly in love with cook list!! Love all the features and it's helping us save so much money by tracking what we already have and giving substitutes for things I already have in my pantry to make recipes!! I love the expiry soon feature and how I can filter allergies or food preference. I'm grateful that is also syncs up with Instacart, and I can sync up my purchases there, and it even has non-food things that carries over, so I can better track my spending. I like the app it helps me keep track of what's in the house it helps alot the one thing that I don't like is my Walmart orders don't upload immediately, so I got a scan them in and sometimes when kids are bringing in groceries things get put away before I can scan in I like the recipes I like that I can stay organized and remember what meals I'm going to cook for the week and not go what did I buy this for

Great idea, but bad execution. Walmart's integration is constantly broken and the onboarding process makes it seem like you have to pay to use the app. If you were to theoretically get around that and get to the free version (I saw the free version after cancelling my subscription), they only show one or two extra features "and more!" but don't say what "and more!" is. It makes me think I was paying for the recipe filters alone, which is not worth what they charge per month.

The AI generated meal planning option ONLY works with a connected grocery store and the ONLY stores are the giants. Local chain of 114 locations isn't supported. This is the main feature I needed to track my pantry and meal plan according to what I have on hand. It doesn't work without a grocery store sync even when using manually entered items in my pantry. I sent support team an email about it and haven't heard back, even though I used the email from replies to other reviews. Now out $20.
