I have been studying for the CRC for Weeks and this app is helping me with the wording of the questions and how to answer them. It also provides you with a detailed explanation of the answer. The pros: there may have been an update to the app since the last comments posted, because I hand-wrote all the questions out on flashcards and there are at least 100 questions. The cons: some of the questions abbreviate words without giving you a context of what they are asking, so you don't know what they are referring to, for instance in one question," In TA, the use of structured games and ego play..." It wasn't until I got it wrong that I understood what TA stood for (transitional analysis). I don't think it should be 12.00 for the app, but they have a business to run like everyone else. I just wanted to write a review since the other ones didn't give much detail.

I like how this app gives immediate feedback and explanation. However, I am frustrated that a decent amount of the content is not relevant to what we NEED to know for the CRC exam. For example, I have found several questions asking about appropriate meditations for different diagnoses. CRCs do not prescribe meds. Also, a few gender questions (male vs female CRCs) I feel are not relevant to the cultural issues that will be stressed on the next exam and feel they might be speculating and assuming/adding content. Also, some questions specific to the state of Minnesota. That is not relevant for a national test. Questions from the DSM IV - not V?? I've seen very little history, laws, and other things extremely relevant and necessary. I'm frustrated that I've wasted time and money on this as I feel there are a lot of questions that are interesting but not relevant to the exam. I would like to try to get my money returned.
