Excellent rowing app, intuitive, easy to use, clear display, very customizable. I don't understand some of the negative reviews unless there were bugs in early versions. Great to be able to display heart rate on screen, see my track on satellite image afterward, graphs of race pieces, etc. Data can be exported in csv format if you need more detail.

Works great. Using it for OC1 workouts. I can program whatever the coach throws at me. Time intervals, distance intervals, rest intervals. All the numbers you need are on the screen, time, distance, pace, heart rate, stroke rate.

Good value rowing Speed coach equivalent. Functions at the whim of your phones GPS accuracy but does a good job of it. I struggle to read the screen in bright daylight, but again that is the phone not the app.

I tried several apps for rowing training, but Crewnerd is by far the best. Frequent updates. Innovative features (head-up display-like support !). Connection to external accessories (heart rate bands, etc.). Tracking. Too many features to write in a review. Support is super-responsive. It's totally worth the cost. Look no further, forget all the rest, you won't regret those few bucks, and you will not go back.

I'm the fastest and strongest rower on my team. I regularly hit stroke ratings between 62 and 100. Either that or this app is buggy, and it drives me insane. I'm delighted when it actually works. I'm not sure if that's half the time or a bit less than that.

Frustrating to figure out on an Android. Never got it to work properly. Was hoping it would help for the racecourse on the water.

App is useless, don't waste your time like I did. The reason it's useless is that it doesn't work in the background, so if your phone turns off, or if you switch to another app to look something up, or if some notification pops up, or if any of a number of other things happen then it stops, and you end up with only a partial recording. Given how easy it is for water drops to cause the phone to do something unintended and given how easy it is not to see it due to glare this is a real problem. I'm running some other live GPS tracking apps in the background, and they record my full track while Crew Nerd never manages to. I've now tried it in 6 outings, and it's just a no-go. Posts on the support forum don't seem to get any answer after several days. Too bad because the advertised features are great, but what's the point if the app doesn't really work...
