CURO: PU Carpool

CURO is the official carpooling app for Parul University staff and students. It connects verified colleagues who drive to campus with colleagues who need a seat, so everyone spends less on fuel, finds parking more easily, and cuts commute emissions.

Only verified PU staff and students can join. Sign in with your @paruluniversity.ac.in account and set up your profile once.

FIND A RIDE
• Search rides by route, date and time. One end of every ride is the
Parul University campus.
• See every ride that passes through your area, not just exact matches.
• Pick your pickup point from named zones or drop a pin on the map for a
precise location.
• Request a seat in one tap. The driver accepts or declines, and you get
notified either way.

OFFER A RIDE
• Add your vehicle (car, bike or scooty) once. Seats are set automatically
from your vehicle type.
• Post your commute with date, departure time and route. A fair fuel-share
cost is suggested, and you can also offer the ride free.
• Review requests and accept the passengers you want.

ON THE DAY
• Live map of nearby drivers around you.
• In-app chat with your driver or passengers. Phone numbers are shared only
after a booking is accepted.
• Live trip view and trip sharing for safety.

SAFETY AND TRUST
• Closed network: every user is verified university staff.
• Same-gender travel filter.
• SOS button and behaviour reporting to the transport admin.
• Post-trip ratings for drivers and passengers.

SUSTAINABILITY
• Track fuel saved and CO2 avoided with every shared ride.
• Earn green points and badges for commuting together.

CURO is free to use and shows no ads. Ride costs are a fuel share settled
directly between colleagues; the app processes no payments.
