Description

This is the new version of Symbol Shortcuts, now with added complete custom keyboard and all the Characters of the Unicode table... and yes, including Emoji 😀

Features:

* Build android custom keyboard with any symbol by adding it to your favorites.
* Quick access from keyboard to favorites to add more symbols.
* Search the symbols by Unicode, HTML code, UTF-8, UTF-16, Description or Character.
* Unsupported symbols will be filtered out from the menu, but can still be retrieved by search.
* Character information like Unicode, HTML code, UTF-8, UTF-16, Description will be displayed when selecting a symbol.
* Copy and Paste options are available for character or string of characters by enabling Text Editor mode.
* Keyboard has swipe left and right function to view other symbols that are listed in your favorites/keyboard.
* Basic symbols only show the Alt codes, for DOS or other computer operating systems.

To use Office code, type the code where the symbol is required. Hold down Alt, press x ones and then release Alt.

Find character by coping the symbol and paste it in search text field and search. Make sure there are no spaces or other characters next to that character, else it will search character descriptions.

The GUI is cumbersome and the button it suggests to change between Custom Keyboard and other keyboards doesn't exist. The keys could show the first subway they expand to like GBoard. If the GUI when editing the keyboard was shaped like the actual keyboard it would be far easier. And it doesn't upper/lowercase Fraktur letters. ALSO: I can't make a single key type more than one character at the same time, and I'd really like to, like פּ, for example (letter with dot included).

This app is FANTASTIC. I am currently working on a new language, Zakrotian (Lo L∩ɴcweɴ S̄∩ċroṫeṫ), and, because it uses a few symbols not used in english, I used this app to make The Zakrotian Keyboard. Now I can type in Zakrotian!

It has all the symbols I expected. I have been looking for symbols for mathematics typing and greek writing on play store for a while now but i couldn't find any. I am glad I found this app.

The upgrade is awful! This app used to be great but since the upgrade you can't build custom keyboards many of the letters show as question marks in text and the app lags upon opening it. I have used it as my default keyboard but will now have to uninstall it until a new upgrade comes along. It has not gotten better with the improvements but worst.

There's app I installed I searched using custom keyboard I searched in google I see I searched wo then I suggest "wo" to "word" it looks like "woword" fix it, (but I searched in google) "a suggestion bug".

Please add a "Create a key on your own" button, and it limits to 100 characters, the key I wrote, it will turn directly to your keyboard, and that update is now custom symbols of uppercase and lowercase even in sub keys as well, and instead of downloading the font file, you can draw in the key to appear as what you draw, the colors are can be red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, etc., and you can name the keys even in sub keys as well, as you named the key, the name is appearing inthekey
