Description
Hassle-free typing of Unicode characters without switching apps and tedious copy-pasting: Just type them directly from your keyboard!
Unicode Keyboard supports two modes of input: You can either specify the hexadecimal code point of the character you want to type or you can simply browse through the catalog and select them there. Both modes are available directly on the keyboard and can be used in virtually any app.
Unicode Keyboard is free, comes without ads and does not require unnecessary permissions.
Important, especially for users from Myanmar: This app does not come with any fonts. In order to display certain characters, the underlying app you’re typing in needs to support displaying these characters. You still can access e.g. Myanmar letters, but this app cannot control how the letters will appear on screen.

This app is great for inputting Unicode symbols, but if you don't know the code, you have to search for a while. I think the developer should add a "list" button, showing each block in its full, as well as the names if tapped on. I'd imagine this mode would take up double the space.

Does exactly what it says :) Once you figure out after entering the code point that you need to actually click the button that shows the glyph, not the 'U+#' button, it is simple enough. I just wish it also let you browse from a code point if you knew the glyph you wanted was "near" a code point you knew.

This keyboard is so cool! I can now type "⁻" I need to type -5 into a small version and here it is x⁻⁵! Very nice app 👏👌 Ads free, and you can easily switch keyboard.

Does a simple job and does it well. If I memorize the code point for the char I want, I can punch it into Unicode Keyboard and get that char any time.

Sorry, bud.... this app is nonfunctional on my Android 15 phone, and the on-screen instructions don't make a lick of sense.

Did not work at all. I installed and never saw any symbols anywhere. Yes, I selected it in system settings and restarted my phone. Nothing. **EDIT** Received a reply from developer. I guess I'm just not tech-savvy. I thought I could just use the symbols, but I guess you have to know and use "codes" to get it to work. That is waaay too labor-intensive. I absolutely do not understand at all how it is supposed to work and his explanation left me even more confused. I just uninstalled it.
