Description
NetMonster collects, shows and stores information about nearby cell towers. Each tower has its unique set of identifiers and NetMonster will show you them. In select areas and countries precise locations are available.
All cells that your phone actively connected to are continuously saved into log till you terminate the app. You can manually correct the location, browse cells on the map, filter them and eventually export all the data.
NetMonster also visualises signal changes and provides short description what given measurement means and how it affects reception quality or theoretical maximal speed.
Supported networks are GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, 4G LTE, 5G NSA and 5G SA. When it comes to LTE, NetMonster also detects aggregated carriers (so-called LTE-Advanced). For areas where 5G NSA is available you can see if NSA is in use or just deployed, carrier aggregation in 4G+5G NSA is also available.

For any people saying it asks for location etc. it needs to ask for it to actually know ur band, network, which cell tower it uses etc. etc. it's not suspicious, and it helped me alot. For people hating please educate yourself before posting hate comments

Does app calculate Distance using timing advance in tdd bands by considering and error correcting for timing offset which increases timing advance for technical purpose regardless of actual distance for preventing collapse of download and upload relay

Net Monster is very helpful for understanding and monitoring 5G network performance. It provides accurate information about signal strength, 5G bands, and network details. However, when a call comes in, the 5G network disconnects, and I have to switch to 4G to make or receive calls properly. If this issue could be addressed, the overall experience would be even better. 📶👍

The Net Monster app provides excellent cell details and PCI visibility. Thank you for developing such a useful tool. One improvement I would like to suggest is a 5G-only priority view. When the phone is in 5G mode the app should prioritize displaying only the connected or nearby 5G cells. This would make it much easier to identify serving and neighboring 5G sites, especially when troubleshooting customer complaints. Such a feature would greatly help field engineers diagnose network issues.

This app share your location and your device ip address or mac addres, and asking for your phone number or google clearly mentioned your data is shared with thirdpartys
