When it's working, it's an amazing app! The trouble is, it stops working too often. I was just looking at when an item is due (in a couple of days), and it wouldn't let me renew it. Went on the website, and it turns out the item had already been renewed. I have this issue at least a couple of times a week.

If I hear an author interview or a book sounds interesting it's the 1st site I look in. Since the whole lock down the library has become increasingly valuable to my wife and I. We are constantly using this app and even though the search features are a little bit iffy, and I have to do multiple searches to find something, it's really good to be able to get the books ordered on my phone and have them just show up at my library.

It worked great (5 stars) until it didn't. For the past 3 weeks I can do nothing with it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I could give the benefit of the doubt in a couple of days of dysfunction, but not for a couple of weeks. Who is maintaining the app?

It's a basic, one way experience. By that, I mean you can search and put some commands into it (e.g. Place holds), but that is it. The following are intended warnings to new users. {1} The app itself does not notify me items are available for pickup. {2} Enabling/changing email and text notifications are not done within the app, but are done elsewhere on the library's website (outside your user account portal). {3} LastPass can't figure out the login dialog, which is unusual and inconvenient.

I don't know why, but I frequently have to clear out the app's entire cache, and reconnect my family's library cards. I tried reconnecting them without clearing first, I received invalid credentials messages. My wife and I have identical phones, the only difference is I need a VPN for work and leave it on 24/7.
