FAQ: How do I use DashRelay? DashRelay shows controls for whatever media app you're playing on your phone. If nothing's playing, it will prompt you to launch a media app first. Once you start your favourite player (like YouTube), DashRelay takes over automatically - no extra setup needed. Just start your media and enjoy!
Why does DashRelay exist? Because YouTube still doesn't offer proper playback controls on Android Auto, and I got tired of asking.
Will it control every app? If the app plays media, DashRelay will try its best. Most apps work great. If you find one that doesn't, let me know!
Why is it free? I built DashRelay to solve my own longstanding grievance and I figured other people probably have the same complaint.
Privacy? DashRelay uses notification access only to detect what's playing and send basic playback commands. Everything stays on your device. No uploads, no tracking, no servers.

Works great with revanced manager patched YouTube. However, patch music has been crashing on Dash Relay during Android Auto use. Tried clearing cache, but still persists.

App worked fine until one day the app stopped loading when I tried to pull it up on my car. I've tried deleting the data and cache of the app, forcing stopping it everything, and it never loads when I try to use it
