★★★★★ Great game, once you understand the cards and what they do. A bit of a learning curve.

★★★★★ This is one of my favorite deck builders. I also love that it is a vertical layout, so you can play mostly one-handed. Very deep card mechanics. Tons of keywords and viable builds. Very polished experience. If you enjoy the base game I highly recommend the expansions.

★★☆☆☆ For a duo dev project, this game is impressive. Despite that, Dawn caster disrespects your time through the balancing and progression systems. To progress through unlocks at a reasonable pace, you must play a specific game mode with a specific deck that you can only achieve through an RNG draft. This is inconsistent, boring, and even then, the currency is earned at a glacial pace. This issue is compounded by enemies designed to hard counter certain decks, leading to more frustration than fun.

★★☆☆☆ After coming back from a long absence this game has changed for the worse. Dev added way too much stuff and having all my progress after unlocking everything being completely wiped for a third time. All of my favorite strategies no longer work because of cards being changed and gimmicky new enemies. This used to be the best card game on the app store, but time has taken its toll and this game is just no longer any fun.

★★☆☆☆ Edit: Downgraded to 1 star. This game should be an easy 5, but it so blatantly disrespects your time with the insane grind and asinine RNG of their 'endless' mode it's not worth playing if you don't have hours of spare time per 1-3 unlocks to grind, of which there are well over a hundred. They need to seriously revamp the resource gain because this is worse than the gotcha games.
