Daylight: Christian Recovery

ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API USAGE DISCLOSURE

Daylight uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to provide Daylight Guard, a core app-blocking feature.

Purpose:
• Detect the package name of the app currently open.
• When you open an app you selected to block, return you to the Home screen and show a block screen.

Data handling:
• Used only for the app-blocking feature you configure.
• Does not read screen content, messages, passwords, or anything you type.
• Foreground-app identity is processed only on your device and is not collected, stored, transmitted, or shared.
• Disabled by default. You must explicitly enable Daylight in Android Accessibility settings, and you can disable it at any time.

Daylight is a faith-first Christian recovery app for men who want freedom from pornography and lust. It combines daily structure, Scripture, accountability, and compassionate support without shame.

Build a steady rhythm with:

• A live freedom counter that preserves your progress after a fall
• Honest daily check-ins and a gentle Grace Reset when you need a fresh start
• A guided 30-day challenge with practical daily missions
• An adaptive feed of public-domain KJV Scripture
• SOS support for difficult moments
• Daylight Guard app blocking on Android
• An AI companion shaped by the sponsor style you choose
• Brotherhood community posts, comments, profiles, and Amens
• App-open streaks, journey statistics, and a recovery calendar

Daylight speaks directly about pornography while remaining warm toward the person. A setback never erases the work you have already done.

Some features require a Daylight Premium subscription. The purchase screen shows the current price and trial terms before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play.

Daylight is a devotional, educational, and accountability tool for adults 18+ in the United States. It is not a therapist, pastor, medical service, or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, call 911 or call or text 988 in the United States.
