Daytide: Tasks & Focus Timer

Daytide is a calm daily planner with an honest focus timer. Write down what needs doing, plan today in a few minutes, give one task your full attention, and see at the end of the week where your time really went. It works offline without an account, and your tasks stay on your phone.

PLAN YOUR DAY
• Plan your day: give every overdue task a place, pull in what matters from the coming week, and choose one intention for today.
• Your daily focus goal shows when the plan is fuller than your day, with a gentle note and one-tap "Move to tomorrow".
• Wrap up in the evening: see what you finished and how long you focused, and move anything unfinished to tomorrow.
• Today puts your intention first, with progress and a button that starts the focus.

CAPTURE IT THE WAY YOU SAY IT
• Quick add understands plain English as you type: "Call Asha tomorrow 6pm 15m", "Standup every weekday 9:30am" or "Pay rent 1 nov monthly" sets the day, the reminder, the estimate and the repeat. Chips show what it understood before you add the task.
• Notes and a checklist of up to 50 steps on every task.
• Search across titles, notes and checklist steps.
• Undo after completing, deleting or moving a task.

SCHEDULE AND REMINDERS
• Any date, Someday, and an Upcoming view of the next two weeks with planned minutes per day.
• Repeating tasks: daily, weekdays, chosen days of the week, monthly, every few days, weeks or months, or a number of days after you finish. A missed repeat comes back once instead of piling up.
• Reminders at the time you pick, as notifications on your phone.
• Long-press a task to move it to tomorrow or another day.
• Your week can start on Monday or Sunday.

FOCUS TIMER
• Focus on a task, or just focus. Pick 15, 25 or 50 minutes, or any length from 5 to 180 minutes.
• Short and long breaks on your own rhythm, a daily focus goal, and an option to keep the screen awake.
• The timer keeps going when you switch apps, and a notification tells you when a focus or break is over.
• A session counts when it completes or when you choose Finish & log. Breaks never count.
• Good for study sessions, deep work and small errands alike.

SEE YOUR WEEK
• Focus minutes by day against your goal, compared with the week before.
• Focus-day streaks, the tasks that got the most focus, deep versus light work, and the time of day you focus best.
• How long finished tasks really took compared with your estimates.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account needed: everything works as a guest.
• Your tasks, notes, checklists and focus history are saved on your phone. They are not uploaded or synced, and the app opts out of Android cloud backup.
• An optional Tathya account is used only to sign in; signing in does not copy your plan anywhere.
• Export a backup file to a folder you choose and restore it later, for example on a new phone.
• No ads, no advertising ID and no tracking across apps.

COMFORTABLE TO USE
• Light and dark themes that follow your phone, or one you choose.
• Gentle haptics you can turn off, larger text sizes, and screen reader labels and actions throughout.

Daytide has no ads and no in-app purchases. Questions or ideas? Write to hello@tathyalabs.com.
